I think this one is almost finished…

I’m happy with the color so far, just have to decide how far to take the blankets.

Should I keep them a little vague and unfinished, or fill them in completely?

Newest project………

A portrait of my own daughter. I plan on doing this one in realistic color tones, as opposed to a tonal color, however I want to try to “punch” up the color a bit. We’ll see……

“Grief” final piece

Here is the finished  piece.

My intent was to try to portray the idea of grief or depression as it’s own separate entity, or identity. We acknowledge it, like an acquaintance one is polite to, afraid to embrace it like a dear friend for fear that if we get too close, we will be lost. So it’s there, just under the surface like a reflection you can’t really touch.
