Color Study #1
I put this palette together for a different pose of the same two subjects. When I finished the color study, I did not like it as much. With this pose I kept envisioning bright sunshine and foliage, and this color suggests a quieter, more serene atmosphere.
Color study #2.
Instead of tonal all over color, I went back to using realistic flesh tones and hair color. The background will have cool blue-greens for depth and highlights of yellow greens. Shadows will be done in cool blues and purples with golden highlights to create the contrast of a bright sunny day.
The feeling I want to evoke is one of warmth and pleasure.
