The finished painting! This was so fun to do,…I broke from my comfort zone a bit and got a little loose with the paint – in a totally controlled way 😉 (One of these days I’ll tackle a whole painting in a wet, loose style…..)
I’m very happy with how this one turned out, and also happy to announce that this is now available on Zazzle.com as a card and an 8″x 10″ print
This painting took a very long time. I think I started it over 3 times, and I am still looking at it and see where I would do something different. As a matter of fact some of the work in progress posts are different versions of this image. When do you you know when a piece is finished? Is it ever finished? This one is, …….for now. Maybe. I think.
Work in progress on the latest project. I am having fun mixing these gray tones and painting the rocks. I am still unsure of what to name this piece, my intent is for the painting to have a quiet, peaceful feel and I think the title should reflect that. Maybe. Or it could just be literal, this reference photo was taken in Loyalsock creek at World’s End State Park. We’ll see.
